en francais... apres le paragraphe bleu ;-)
After enjoying the beauty and relaxing time in Golden bay, well renowned for its micro climate, home of artists , great fresh fruit and vegies, I have moved eastbounds till Picton where ferries leave to reach north islands. It is also one of the best scenery i reckon with amazing views on Malboroughs sounds that i enjoyed yesterday after mountain biking in some tracks and then hiked for one hour and half or so to reach THE spot !
I have found that writing in english could also a good filter to tell you more of my great last days adventures without worrying some people who might recognize themselves if i d named them ;-). Indeed, maybe reason why i am enjoying as much these last days is because of all the meeting i made. First by pure coincidence i came across a dutch couple who i was on Camel safari with in India !!! Awesome ! Then after my kinda woofing in Shambhala i did a bit of "mastered hitchhiking" and really met some great locals ! To reach Picton i actually got 3 rides and the last one was an american women with her daughter and she runned a hostel after having sailed the world with her family for a while. Quite interesting conversations.
Ending up in PICTON, heaps of stuffs to do actually : diving a shipwreck, hiking, mountain biking, paragliding, canoe, swimming with dolphins ... but i kinda just fancy chilling out around without spending that much money in entertaining activites. Felt like i need a break from "holiday time" , need some time off , simply with locals or more based on experiences... Reason why i am writing you now from the North Island (started draft of this post this morning in south ;-)), in a blueberry farm where i will work for 4 hours each of next 2 days in exchange of full board and a daily life in a family 9well not so local, just learnt Mandy comes from the US, moved here 8 years ago though)
